1. Introduction
Welcome, my dear student.
These Terms and Conditions of Service (“Terms”) govern the use of the Spanish with Manu© website and the purchase and use of the services offered through it.
By purchasing a lesson, package, subscription, course, or other paid service, you confirm that you have read and accepted these Terms.

These Terms apply together with any information provided during the booking or purchasing process and any applicable policies referred to on this website
2. Nature of the service
Spanish with Manu© provides online educational services intended
to help students develop their Spanish language skills through lessons, practice,
guidance, and educational materials.
Lessons may include conversation practice, grammar, vocabulary lists,
pronunciation, listening, real-life communication, exam preparation,
homework, free resources, official learning materials, feedback, and other activities depending on the service purchased.
The content and approach of a lesson may be adapted according to the student's
level, goals, needs, and progress.
Learning outcomes cannot be guaranteed. Individual progress depends on factors including the
student's participation, attendance, previous knowledge, practice, and individual study time.
3.Booking and payment
Lessons and packages must be paid for before the service is provided
unless otherwise expressly agreed.
The available payment methods and the total price, including applicable taxes,
will be displayed during the purchasing process.
Where payment is processed through a third-party provider,
payment information is handled according to that provider's terms and privacy
policy. Spanish with Manu does not store complete payment-card details.
By completing a purchase, the student confirms that the order involves an obligation to pay.
After purchasing a service, the student will receive confirmation containing the relevant booking or service information.
4. Right of withdrawal
If the student is a consumer, applicable consumer protection legislation may provide
a 14-day right of withdrawal for contracts concluded online.
If the student requests that a lesson or other service begin before the end of this
period, the student expressly requests the early performance of the service.
Where applicable, if the student exercises the right of withdrawal after performance
has begun, the student may be required to pay the proportionate amount corresponding
to the service already provided.
Once a service has been fully performed, the right of withdrawal may cease where
the legal requirements for this exception have been met and the student has given
the required express consent and acknowledgement.
Nothing in these Terms limits any mandatory consumer rights applicable to the
student.
Withdrawal from a lesson
The withdrawal right described above is separate from the cancellation and rescheduling rules applicable to a scheduled lesson. The cancellation rules in Section 5 (below) apply once the applicable statutory withdrawal period has expired, or where the statutory right of withdrawal does not apply. How to exercise your right of withdrawal
To exercise your right of withdrawal, you may contact us by email at hola@spanishwithmanu.com with a clear statement that you wish to withdraw from the contract. You may use the statutory withdrawal form (download here), but you are not required to do so.5. Cancellation and rescheduling
Individual lessons
A scheduled lesson may be cancelled up to 24 hours before the scheduled start time
for a refund.
Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the scheduled lesson are not eligible for a refund,
except where applicable law requires otherwise.
A lesson may be rescheduled up to two times, provided the request is made at least 24 hours before the scheduled start time.
A rescheduled lesson cannot subsequently be cancelled for a refund under the normal cancellation policy.
Packages
Packages are offered at a discounted rate compared with individual lessons. Once a lesson from a package has been booked, the package cannot normally be cancelled or refunded, except where applicable consumer law provides otherwise. All lessons included in a package must be booked within 12 months of purchase.6. Late arrival and missed lessons
Students are responsible for attending their lessons at the scheduled time.
If a student arrives late, the lesson will normally finish at the originally scheduled time.
If a student does not attend the lesson and does not provide notice, the lesson will be considered completed
and will not normally be refunded or rescheduled.
This does not affect any rights that cannot legally be excluded.
Teacher's delay or absence
The teacher may occasionally arrive up to 5 minutes after the scheduled start time due to preparation, technical issues, or the needs of another student. Where the teacher is responsible for a longer delay or is unable to provide the lesson, an appropriate solution will be offered, which may include rescheduling or extending/refunding the affected lesson.7. Technical requirements and online platforms
Lessons are provided online using platforms such as Google Meet, Zoom, Microsoft
Teams, WhatsApp, Discord, or other platforms made available by the teacher.
The student is responsible for having:

Materials provided for personal study may be downloaded, stored, and used for the student's
own educational purposes where permitted.
Students may not reproduce, publish, sell, distribute, upload, or commercially exploit these
materials without prior written permission.
11. Recording lessons
Students may not record, reproduce, publish, or distribute a lesson without the teacher's
prior consent.
If a lesson is recorded with the consent of both parties, the recording may only be used
for the purpose agreed between them.
Spanish with Manu© will not record a student's lesson without the appropriate consent and legal
basis.
12. Communication and additional contact
Lessons may occasionally involve communication outside the main video-call platform
when this is useful for the student's learning and both parties agree.
This may include WhatsApp, email, shared documents, or other communication methods.
Additional communication does not create an obligation for the teacher to provide unlimited
availability or support outside the services purchased.
13. Packages, subscriptions and promotional offers
Any package, subscription, discount, trial offer, workshop, or promotional offer
is subject to the specific conditions displayed when it is purchased.
Promotional offers may have limited availability, duration, eligibility requirements, or other
conditions.
Where a promotional condition conflicts with these Terms, the specific conditions of the
promotion will apply to that promotion, subject to applicable consumer law.

Examples may include serious illness, natural disasters, widespread internet or platform failures, power outages, government restrictions, or other events that could not reasonably have been prevented.
